EZ Street LLC, which own commercial
properties and own and operate car care
facilities. Before retiring in 2000,
Mr. Charlesworth worked for McDonald’s for
26 years. He served as a Senior Vice President
in Southeast Asia from April 1995 to July
1997. His international experience included
strategic planning and risk assessment for the
growth and development of McDonald’s across
Southeast Asia, as well as serving as the
McDonald’s partner representative to seven
Southeast Asian joint ventures. Most recently
he served as President of the Midwest Division
of McDonald’s USA from July 1997 to
December 2000. His experience with
McDonald’s included responsibility for
managing a large and diverse employee
workforce similar in many ways to Chipotle’s,
and also gave him a detailed knowledge of
restaurant operations, site selection and related
matters. He also has developed strong financial
acumen through his experience at McDonald’s
as well as running his own business interests.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in
business, majoring in economics, from Virginia
Polytechnic Institute.

Montgomery F. (Monty) Moran ............. Mr.MoranisourCo-ChiefExecutiveOfficer.
He was appointed to this position on January 1,
2009, after serving as President and Chief
Operating Officer since March 2005. Mr. Moran
previously served as chief executive officer of
the Denver law firm Messner & Reeves, LLC,
where he was employed since 1996, and as
general counsel of Chipotle. His experience as
our general counsel from the time we had only a
few restaurants through our growth to several
hundred restaurants at the time he joined us, has
given him an in-depth knowledge and
understanding of every aspect of our business.
His legal experience ran from trial and
employment matters to real estate and other
transactional matters, as well as general
corporate counseling. As a result he has an
outstanding skill set in such areas as risk
management and crisis handling, and also is
thoroughly familiar with management personnel
throughout our organization. He also was the
principal architect of our Restaurateur program
and other aspects of instilling a culture of high
performers throughout Chipotle, and his
leadership is this area has been critical to our
success. Mr. Moran holds a Bachelor of Arts
degree in communications from the University
of Colorado and a J.D. from Pepperdine
University.
