Delivering the Right Choices for Your Home
We are proud to provide Darren Dougan and his family in Marion,
Louisiana with the communications services they need for their busy
lives. Through the value and convenience of a Simple Choice™ bundle,
the Dougans receive local and long distance voice communications,
digital television and high-speed Internet access from CenturyTel.
The Dougans can talk regularly with friends and family in Canada and
Germany, and their two young children can enjoy multiple entertain-
ment choices. As an insurance agent, Darren can use high-speed Internet
service to work from home when he must juggle work and child care
responsibilities. Our goal is to provide every residential customer we
serve with the same valuable, convenient service that the Dougans enjoy.
Lifestyle Solutions
Whether our customers telecommute from a small rural town or
live and work in a medium-size city, we are providing the communica-
tions and entertainment solutions they need to live the lifestyles they
choose. We continue to invest in our networks so we can offer high-
speed Internet service to more customers. We continue to test switched
digital video technologies so that as technology matures, we can offer
a variety of entertainment choices. Additionally, we continue to invest
in our customer care capabilities through system enhancements and
employee training. We know that while customers appreciate and expect
advanced communications, it’s our personal touch that sets us apart.

We continue to expand the services available
in our Simple Choice™ bundles so we can
provide the right selection at the best value
with the convenience of one bill.
Our new unlimited long distance plan is
adding value to our residential customers with
more than 165,000 customers signing up for this
service in 2006.
Satellite television service is now available to
virtually all the households we serve.
We expanded our switched digital video trial
to evaluate alternative technologies
to make TV service available over our
existing network assets.
We provide bundled services to
meet our customers’ needs. The
number of residential customers
choosing bundled service grew
37 percent since year-end 2005.
