Sinceitsestablishmentin1957,CasioComputerCo.,Ltd.,madeitsmissiontopursue
“CreativityandContribution.”Casioaimstospurcorporategrowth,increasecorporate
value,andcontinuetobeahighlyvisibleandattractiveCompanytoshareholdersand
customersbyusingingeniousconceptsandstate-of-the-arttechnologiestocreate
productsandservicesthatwillmakethelivesofpeoplethroughouttheworldmore
enjoyableandcomfortable.
InthetermendedMarch31,2005,Casiostronglypromotedanddevelopeditsstrategic
businesses,whicharetimepieces,digitalcameras,electronicdictionaries,cellularphones,
andTFTLCDs,inpursuitofmanagementtargets.Atthesametime,theCompanyfocused
onrealizinggreatermanagementefciency,includingraisingoperatingincomemargins
andimprovingcapitalefciency.Asaresultsoftheseefforts,theCompanyachieved
record-highsalesandincome.
Wewillmakemaximumuseofourexpertiseinourstrategicbusinesses.Casiowillexpand
businessthroughthedevelopmentofinventiveproductsandthepromotionofstable
long-termprotability.
