737 Airborne Early Warning and Control
(AEW&C)
The 737 AEW&C delivers flexible mission
coverage that includes maritime surveillance,
command and control, and air traffic control
functionality. The Royal Australian Air Force
is operating six AEW&C aircraft designated
Wedgetail E-7A. Boeing has begun work on a
first block mission system upgrade for the fleet
while providing full Performance-Based Logistics
and sustainment. The Republic of Korea operates
four Peace Eye AEW&C aircraft for which Boeing
provides spare parts and support equipment
along with systems and support equipment
repairs. Turkey’s first Peace Eagle AEW&C aircraft
was delivered in January 2014.

Advanced Space Access Boeing is studying advanced concepts to reduce
the cost of on-demand space access. A Phantom
Works team worked with the Defense Advanced
Research Projects Agency (DARPA) to design
an innovative small satellite launch vehicle and
awaits a source selection decision in 2014.
Boeing also submitted a proposal to design the
XS-1 Experimental Space Plane for DARPA.
This space plane is intended to be used as a
reusable first stage and to demonstrate technol-
ogy that will bring aircraft-like operability to space
launch. The XS-1 vehicle will be sized to support
delivery of 3,000 to 5,000 pounds (1,360 to 2,270
kilograms) of payload to low Earth orbit.
A-10 Thunderbolt Wing Replacement
Program and Life-Cycle Program Support
Boeing has worked since 2007 to design and
manufacture replacement wings for up to 242
A-10 aircraft. By the end of 2013, Boeing had
delivered 57 enhanced wing sets on schedule to
the U.S. Air Force customer. In 2009, Boeing
was awarded a four-year contract to sustain
the A-10 and integrate current and future
upgrades into the aircraft’s avionics, mechanical
and structural systems. Boeing was awarded a
contract in 2010 to develop and design fuselage
repairs and to train U.S. Air Force maintainers to
make the repairs.
AH-6 Light Attack/Reconnaissance
Helicopter
The AH-6, a light attack/reconnaissance heli-
copter, is based on a combat-proven platform
with a heritage of successful service. The heli-
copter features a flexible mission configuration;
state-of-the-art cockpit architecture; integrated
and qualified sensors and weapons systems;
reliability and low maintenance costs; and a
compressed, on-time and on-cost delivery
schedule to meet customer needs. Offered as
a solution for selected global defense forces,
the AH-6 is designed to quickly meet current
requirements of international military forces while
maintaining flexibility for future growth.
AH-64 Apache The AH-64 Apache is the world’s most capable,
survivable, deployable and maintainable multi-
mission attack helicopter. Boeing completed
production and delivery of AH-64D Apache
Longbows and continues deliveries of the
AH-64E Apache helicopters to the U.S. Army
and allied defense forces. International Apache
customers include Egypt, Greece, Israel, Japan,
the Republic of Korea, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia,
Singapore, the Netherlands, the United Arab
Emirates and the United Kingdom. Boeing also
provides Performance-Based Logistics sustain-
ment services for the U.S. Armys Apache fleet,
as well as a full suite of Apache training devices
for domestic and international customers.

Bombers
B-1B Bomber B-52 Bomber
The B-1B Lancer is a long-range bomber in
service with the U.S. Air Force since 1984 and is
capable of rapidly delivering large quantities of
precision munitions. The B-52H Stratofortress
is in its fifth decade of operational service. Its
primary mission is to provide the United States
with immediate nuclear and conventional global
capability. Due to its high mission-capable rate,
long range, persistence and ability to employ
accurate standoff weapons and Joint Direct
Attack Munitions, the B-52H continues to be a
major contributor to U.S. and allied forces.
