Evolutionary biology teaches us that animals either adapt
to changes in their external environment or disappear.
This basic truth is often misrepresented by social critics, who talk
about business strategies in terms like “Darwinism” or “the
law of the jungle.” The reality is that successful businesses not only
adapt to changes in their environment, they anticipate change
and help to drive change through the development and delivery
of new products and services.
