THE BELUGA
Five Beluga aircraft transport large
components between Airbus’ production
sites in Europe with over 60 flights a week.
A larger version, known as the Beluga XL and
based on the A330-200 freighter, is being
developed to address capacity requirements
in view of the A350 XWB ramp-up and other
production rate increases.
