– When we moved into this two-story building
that once housed the venerable Strand Theater, we agreed to keep the
building’s façade and signage while adding our own Walgreen marquee.
Chicago, Illinois

– This Chicago store on the upscale corner of
State and Walton streets opened in 2004. To fit the neighborhood, the
architect designed this new construction using elements originally
introduced in prominent Chicago buildings over a century ago.
