We lease virtually all of our over 2,700 store locations, generally for 10 years with options to extend the lease term for
one or more 5-year periods. We have the right to terminate some of these leases before the expiration date under specified
circumstances and some with specified payments.
The following is a summary of our primary owned and leased distribution centers and primary administrative office
locations by segment as of January 30, 2010. Square footage information for the distribution centers represents total
ground cover” of the facility. Square footage information for office space represents total space occupied:
