INTERNATIONAL GROWTH
In fiscal 2005, THQ’s international revenues climbed to 38% of sales from 29% in the prior year. The company
achieved this growth by publishing more games with global appeal and deepening its penetration of key markets
in Europe and Asia Pacific.
The company plans to continue to leverage the growing awareness overseas of key licensed brands,
Disney/Pixar, Nickelodeon and WWE, and to publish more high-end PC titles like Full Spectrum Warriorand
Warhammer®40,000: Dawn of War.
THQ also plans to expand internationally through increased direct sales and marketing efforts and the opening of
new direct office locations, such as its new office in Madrid, Spain, which opened in April 2005.
