mortgage for them, using their
personal goals and financial
information. It provides a rate and
payment quote instantly.
New online tool—the Home
Services Connection Center—
helps members manage their
utilities, cable, phone services
and more with every move.
Account Access
Made Web Bill Pay totally free,
regardless of a member’s bill
payment activity, and provided
easier access to recent payment
history for selected billers.
Added a new layer of online
security, providing additional
user authentication.
Now display pending direct
deposits and their availability dates
on the Account Summary page.
Added the ability to immediately
open, fund and confirm Share
Certificate purchases entirely online.
Made it possible for members
to make credit card cash advances
from their Navy Federal credit
card account to a Navy Federal
deposit account.
Added ability to view six months
of transaction activity on Share and
IRA certificates.
Arranged for members to
activate their Navy Federal credit
cards online.
Added capability to transfer bal-
ances from other non-Navy Federal
credit accounts to a Navy Federal
credit card.
Added the capability to make
both current and prior year IRA and
ESA (Education Savings Account)
contributions.
Added the ability to provide
maturity instructions on full
balances in Share and IRA certifi-
cates and receive immediate
confirmation on the designated
transaction date.
Digital Media
Launched a car-buying podcast
called “The most valuable three and
a half minutes you’ve ever spent
with your iPod or MP3 player.”
Posted our videos “Preventing ID
Theft,” “Managing Your Credit”
and “Home Buying Made Easy”
on YouTube to make available
