The Board of Directors has been instrumental in developing this balance, as well as continuing to challenge
how we maintain it in this environment. I thank them for their tremendous dedication and counsel. Two Directors
who I would like to single out are Don Casto and Eddie Munson. Eddie, a CPA and formerly with KPMG, joined
the Board midway through 2014 after the Board completed its regular skills assessment and sought him out for
his expertise and deep understanding of the banking industry. I especially thank Don for his 30 years of excellent
service. He has been a valued member of the Board since 1985 and served on nearly every committee during his
tenure, most recently serving as the Chair of our Executive Committee. He is retiring this year, and I want to
thank him for his many years of dedication and advice to Huntington, as well as his personal commitment to the
development of our Columbus community.
In addition to the personal pride I have for what the Huntington team has accomplished over the last several
years for our shareholders, I am especially proud of our colleagues for their deep commitment to our
communities and their own personal wellness. Pelotonia, the annual bike tour that raises funds for The James
Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute, continues to be a rallying point for Huntington’s colleagues and
our communities. Since the inaugural event in 2009, Huntington colleagues have raised $12 million towards
curing cancer, and in 2014, more than 2,700 of our approximately 12,000 colleagues rode in, contributed to, or
volunteered for the event.
Colleagues are aligned with our shareholders and we enter 2015 with optimism and confidence in our future.
We will execute our plan, delivering our goals with urgency and focus. We are confident in our strategies and
resolve to continue to deliver on our long-term goals. We thank you — our shareholders, customers, friends, and
colleagues — for your continued support.
Stephen D. Steinour
Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer
