17. COMMITMENTS AND CONTINGENCIES
Construction and Other Capital Commitments. Pursuant to a hospital purchase agreement in effect as of
December 31, 2015, the Company has agreed to build a replacement facility in York, Pennsylvania. The
estimated construction cost, including equipment costs, is approximately $125 million. This project is required to
be completed in 2017 and approximately $5 million has been expended through December 31, 2015 related to
this replacement hospital. In addition, under other purchase agreements outstanding at December 31, 2015, the
