(e) Telstra bonds
During fiscal 2002, $39 million of Telstra bonds matured. Telstra
bonds have been issued to both retail and wholesale investors and
have effective interest rates ranging from 3.5% to 12.67% (2001: 3.0%
to 12.7%). They mature up until the year 2020 (2001: 2020). Our
Telstra bonds are repayable over the next five years ending 30 June
and after as follows:
