(1) Includes shares purchased related to treasury activity under our stock plans. Such activity during the fiscal fourth quarter of 2006 includes: (i) the
surrender by employees of 519 shares of already owned common stock to pay the exercise price in connection with the exercise of employee stock
options, and (ii) the surrender by employees of 7,964 shares to satisfy tax withholding obligations in connection with the vesting of restricted stock
issued to employees.
(2) On March 29, 2006, our Board of Directors authorized the repurchase of up to $750 million of our outstanding common stock. On December 20,
2006, our Board of Directors approved an increase to our repurchase program, subject to the closing of our sale of Raytheon Aircraft, of up to an
additional $750 million, which has not been included above. Purchases may take place from time to time at management’s discretion depending
upon market conditions.
