Similar customer responses led the company to increase
its production rates in 2005, resulting in double-digit
growth for the second straight year.
Employees received affirmation in 2005 that their
product development and focus on customer service
are returning the company to preeminence in the industry.
RAC introduced as many new and derivative models in
2005 as in the previous 10 years combined, and both
the Beechcraft and Hawkerbrands improved their
scores in industry service and support surveys.
Raytheon Aircraft Company (RAC), with 2005 sales of
$2.9 billion, received the largest commercial order in
the company’s history in the fourth quarter of 2005.
NetJets Inc. ordered 50 of RAC’s new Hawker 4000
super-midsize jets and a 10-year maintenance program,
valued at more than $1 billion.
“In addition to the innovative design and superior
performance of the Hawker 4000, Raytheon Aircraft
Company’s commitment to customer service and quality
aircraft were key factors in our decision to purchase the
aircraft, said Richard Santulli, Chairman, NetJetsInc.
