5. BUSINESS INCUBATION SECURITIES AND BUSINESS INCUBATION SECURITIES IN AFFILIATES
Business incubation securities and business incubation securities in affiliates that were held by subsidiaries of the Company were
included in investment securities on the consolidated balance sheets as of March 31, 2009 and 2008. Business incubation securities
amount to ¥1,518 million ($15,979 thousand) and ¥4,762 million, respectively. Business incubation securities in affiliates amount to
¥1,957 million ($20,600 thousand) and ¥2,012 million, respectively.
