5. BUSINESS INCUBATION SECURITIES AND BUSINESS INCUBATION SECURITIES IN AFFILIATES
Business incubation securities and business incubation securities in affiliates that were held by subsidiaries of the Company were
included in investment securities on the consolidated balance sheets as of March 31, 2008 and 2007. Business incubation securities
amount to ¥4,762 million ($45,352 thousand) and ¥9,316 million, respectively. Business incubation securities in affiliates amount to ¥2,012
million ($19,162 thousand) and ¥3,645 million, respectively.
