increasing agricultural productivity. Dow's integrated, market-driven, industry-leading portfolio of specialty chemical,
advanced materials, agrosciences and plastics businesses delivers a broad range of technology-based products and solutions to
customers in approximately 180 countries and in high-growth sectors such as packaging, electronics, water, coatings and
agriculture. In 2015, Dow had annual sales of nearly $49 billion and employed approximately 49,500 people worldwide. The
Company's more than 6,000 product families are manufactured at 179 sites in 35 countries across the globe. The Company
conducts its worldwide operations through global businesses, which are reported in five operating segments: Agricultural
Sciences, Consumer Solutions, Infrastructure Solutions, Performance Materials & Chemicals and Performance Plastics.
In 2015, 38 percent of the Company’s sales were to customers in North America; 31 percent were in Europe, Middle East,
Africa and India ("EMEAI"); while the remaining 31 percent were to customers in Asia Pacific and Latin America.
In 2015, the Company and its consolidated subsidiaries did not operate in countries subject to U.S. economic sanctions and
export controls as imposed by the U.S. State Department or in countries designated by the U.S. State Department as state
sponsors of terrorism, including Cuba (until September 2015), Iran, Sudan and Syria. The Company has policies and
procedures in place designed to ensure that it and its consolidated subsidiaries remain in compliance with applicable U.S. laws
and regulations.
