Manufacturers of consumer electronics (CE) recognize that putting products within a click of
consumers fuels growth—thats where Digital River excels. CE manufacturers are now more willing
than ever to incorporate balanced multi-channel strategies to acquire new customers and grow top-
line results, and they are increasingly turning to us to build, manage and market their online stores.
Our opportunities in CE expanded considerably this year. We became a recognized leader in this
market, winning business from major industry players, such as Eastman Kodak, Logitech, Samsung,
SanDisk and Seagate.
Equally as important this year, we continued to demonstrate our strength as an e-commerce partner
by expanding our CE products and services portfolio. Recently, we launched a solution, which we
believe is a rst in the e-commerce industry, to enable CE clients that are selling products online in
Europe and North America to comply with complicated copyright and recycling regulations. In fact,
some of our clients have said they would not be selling in Europe without this solution and Digital
Rivers expertise.
e high prole of our CE clients is extraordinary, and our e-commerce solutions are world-class.
We intend to further intensify our sales eorts in this market in 2009.
