I’m proud of the entire Citrix team who worked tirelessly to accomplish all of this—and tremendously
grateful for the thousands of Citrix customers and partners who continue to give us their business,
their trust, and their enthusiasm for our vision.
To deliver in 2010, here’s what to expect:
• A significant investment in brand awareness. When you’re in growth markets, with leading
products and the right timing, you turn up the volume.
• Increased sales capacity to drive larger, strategic customer engagements and more focus on
deeper systems integrator partnerships to meet the rapidly growing demand for enterprise-wide
Citrix deployments.
• New channel programs that allow our partners to upgrade their capabilities in desktop
virtualization, our single biggest growth opportunity.
• Increased product, customer and sales alignment with strategic partners like Microsoft,
HP and Dell.
• And, as always, a strong innovation agenda with a few great surprises along the way.
By applying our virtual computing vision to everything from meetings to desktops, networks and
clouds, computing can be far simpler. In a world where most enterprise software vendors propagate
complexity in computing, we believe simplicity is more powerful.
Just as companies like Apple have revolutionized consumer computing through the power of simplicity,
we believe Citrix has an opportunity to do the same for the world of business computing. Simpler is
not only better, it’s more secure, more reliable, more economical, faster to adopt, and easier to change.
These are not the characteristics of today’s enterprise computing, which is why we are so optimistic
about our long-term opportunity.
As the global economy begins to recover, our growing market strength is clearly validating our strategy.
Citrix mindshare with CIOs and strategic decision makers is higher today than at any point in our
21 year history. We’re clearly aligned with powerful market and technical transitions that will enable
profitable growth for years ahead. Our virtual computing solutions are just in time to help people
and businesses do extraordinary things—with a simpler is better approach.
On behalf of the board and our employees, we thank you for your support and confidence.
