designed to prevent, detect and respond to unauthorized activity in our systems, certain types of
attacks could result in significant financial losses and/or reputational harm. In addition, we manage
information technology systems for certain customers. Many of these customers face similar security
threats. If we cannot prevent the unauthorized access, release and/or corruption of our customers’
confidential, classified or personally identifiable information, our reputation could be damaged, and/or
we could face financial losses.

approximately 96% was located in the United States.
The following table provides a summary of the floor space by business as of December 31, 2011:

Louis, MO; Philadelphia, PA; San Antonio, TX; Huntsville, AL; Mesa, AZ; Wichita, KS; Houston,

Most runways and taxiways that we use are located on airport properties owned by others and are
used jointly with others. Our rights to use such facilities are provided for under long-term leases with
municipal, county or other government authorities. In addition, the U.S. government furnishes us
certain office space, installations and equipment at U.S. government bases for use in connection with
various contract activities.
We believe that our major properties are adequate for our present needs and, as supplemented by
planned improvements and construction, expect them to remain adequate for the foreseeable future.
Item 3. Legal Proceedings
Currently, we are involved in a number of legal proceedings. For a discussion of contingencies related
to legal proceedings, see Note 21 to our Consolidated Financial Statements, which is hereby
incorporated by reference.
