ACE REWARDS®VISA®
In 2010, Ace launched a new Ace Rewards®Visa®credit card in
association with U.S. Bank. This credit card program provides
customers the opportunity to earn Ace Rewards points on
any Visa purchase they make, even if they are not active Ace
Rewards program members. The Ace Rewards Visa is available
to individual consumers and small business owners and can be
used anywhere Visa is accepted. The card rewards program is
fully funded by U.S. Bank and acts as an accelerator to the
current Ace Rewards program for existing Rewards members.
DIGITAL MEDIA
Ace continues to bring The Helpful Place to consumers
through a variety of digital media.
Facebook
Ace had 95,003 Likes (fans) in 2010, up 80,815 from 2009.
We saw 12,701,820 total impressions in 2010 with
an average impressions-per-post of 66,852.
Ace launched new functionality to our Facebook
page that allows our fans to view their local ad
without having to leave Facebook.
Ace’s monthly offers tab drove 674 in-store
transactions and 791 online transactions.
YouTube
There were 80-plus helpful how-to and brand videos
posted to Ace’s YouTube channel.
Those videos had 187,022 views during the year.
Twitter
Ace had 4,341 followers on Twitter in 2010.
More than 1,400 Tweets have been posted,
providing helpful tips, sale information and
interaction with customers.
Mobile
In January 2010, Ace launched the first mobile
website in the home improvement industry.
The site had 618,966 visits and 1,809,094
page views during 2010.
Ace’s mobile website was named to “The Top
15 mobile commerce-enabled web destinations
of 2010” by Mobile Commerce Daily, one of the
industry’s leading publications.
