In 1991, the Ace board of directors created the Ace Foundation
to raise funds for families in need. Since then, with the support of
Ace retailers, vendor partners and corporate team members, the
Foundation has raised $46 million for Children’s Miracle Network
Hospitals. These hospitals in your community provide lifesaving
resources to sick and injured children. For all of you who have
contributed your time, efforts and money to the Ace Foundation,
thank you for supporting this worthwhile cause.
The Foundation has also been a supporter of the American Red
Cross Disaster Relief Fund. The Ace family has banded together
in times of need to donate more than $750,000 over the past
years to help disaster victims throughout the world.
During 2011, the Ace Foundation will be asking everyone in the
Ace family to take part in its “Heroes Add Zeroes” campaign.
With the Foundation's 20-year anniversary in mind, the premise
is to start with a donation of $20 … add a zero … become a hero!
Anyone can contribute to the Heroes Add Zeroes campaign by
going to www.helpmakemiracles.org/event/aceheroes.
FOUNDATION IMAGES
1] Ace corporate team members volunteer to take phone
pledges during Chicago’s Children’s Memorial Hospital’s
annual 36-Hour Radiothon.
2] Avid motorcycle riders and some passengers take a break
from the road to visit Ace’s Retail Support Center in Princeton,
Ill. The Motorcycle Miracle Mission raised more than $46,000
for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
3] Retailers from the Texas Gulf Coast present a check to the
Texas Children’s Hospital representing their in-store
fundraising initiatives.
4] For the fourth year running, Ace was proud to partner with
Stanley Tools to go Racing for a Miracle. Stanley’s $100,000
donation to the Ace Foundation was slated to help kids
treated at Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals across
the country.
