There were no transfers between Level 1 and Level 2 financial instruments in the fiscal 2015 and 2014 , respectively.

Property and equipment, net
Property and equipment consist of the following (in thousands):
Depreciation and amortization expense related to property and equipment was $2.8 million , $4.0 million and $5.6 million for fiscal 2015
,
2014 and 2013 , respectively.
Goodwill and intangible assets, net
Intangible assets consist of the following (in thousands):
Acquired developed technology is amortized on a straight-line basis over the expected useful life. Amortization expense related to
intangibles was $3.2 million , $2.6 million and $1.6 million for fiscal 2015 , 2014 and 2013 , respectively.
As of June 30, 2015 , amortization expense for intangible assets by fiscal year is as follows: $1.5 million in fiscal 2016, $1.0 million in
fiscal 2017, $1.0 million in fiscal 2018, $1.0 million in fiscal 2019, $1.0 million in fiscal 2020 and $0.7 million thereafter.
Goodwill by reportable segment and activity for fiscal 2015 and 2014 was as follows (in thousands):
