Uncommon Value
for Consumers, Customers and Communities
We challenge ourselves to
bring products to the market
which genuinely enhance the
everyday lives of consumers
who use them. This is reflected
in the wide range of marketplace
accolades and awards Jarden
products receive each year. We
are proud to share a sample of
recent awards.
Retail Customer Satisfaction is a
key factor by which we measure
Jarden’s success. We pride
ourselves on consistently being
recognized for our service and
innovation by our retail partners.
We not only have leading brands
in product categories, but also hold
category management positions
with many of our top retailers.
Corporate Social Responsibility is embedded in every aspect of Jarden’s business systems and operations.
We strive to enhance our performance and contribute to the communities in which we operate. Our Sustainability
teams focus on five key Corporate Social Responsibility principles:
Selected examples of this operational metric include:
27% Electrical Savings—Jarden Team SportsTullahoma, TN
40 Ton Reduction in Landfill Waste—Jarden Branded Consumables—Gardner, KS

detectors to fire service and safety organizations in 2013. As part of their
community outreach efforts, First Alert works with local service organizations
to promote public awareness about fire and carbon monoxide safety.
From assisting legislatures and local communities in outreach messaging to
participation in local safety campaigns, First Alert contributes to overall safety
awareness and also helps provide the means for local residents to achieve greater
safety in their homes.
Since 1990, Berkley has recycled nine million
miles of fishing line—enough to reach the moon
and back 19 times. The Berkley Conservation
Institute was honored with the 2013 BoatU.S.
Foundation Environmental Leadership Award.
