P. Share options and awards
Details of options and awards in respect of the ordinary shares of the Company which are outstanding at the balance
sheet date are given in note 35 to the Group financial statements together with a summary of the total cost of share-based
compensation in respect of such schemes. These include options and awards outstanding and the cost of share-based
compensation in respect of employees of the Company but these are not separately disclosed within the Company’s financial
statements as the amounts involved are not material. Details of options and awards granted to directors of the Company are
contained in the report on directors’ remuneration on pages 59 to 61.
