As of December 31, 2007, there were
38,050,680 shares of common stock of Alaska
Air Group, Inc. issued and outstanding and 3,609
shareholders of record. We also held 4,771,306
treasury shares at a cost of $112.5 million. We
have not paid dividends on the common stock
since 1992. Our common stock is listed on the
New York Stock Exchange (symbol: ALK).

In September 2007, the Board of Directors
authorized the Company to repurchase up to
$100 million of its common stock over a period
of twelve months. As of December 31, 2007, the
Company had repurchased 2,593,282 shares of
common stock for a total of $62.8 million under
this authorization as noted in the following table.
The repurchased shares have been recorded as
treasury shares in the accompanying
consolidated balance sheet.
