REAL ESTATE
Facilities range in size from 60 square feet to 32 acres under one roof and support retail, delivery, mail processing,
maintenance, administrative, and support activities.

USAGE OF FACILITIES
Facilities that support postal retail and delivery operations are located in virtually every community throughout the country.
In addition to the 31,702 retail and delivery facilities that we operate, postal retail services are available in thousands of
commercial locations owned and operated by private businesses. These include almost 4,000 Contract Postal Units,
Community Post Offices, and Village Post Offices, more than 5,700 approved shipper locations, and over 64,000
supermarkets, pharmacies, and other stores that sell postage stamps as a convenience to our customers.
The following types of facilities, as detailed in the table below, comprise our postal retail and delivery operations.
