companies are leaders in the fast growing casual game
segment and, through this relationship, we plan to launch
more than 20 new casual and online games on multiple
platforms during fiscal 2009.
Positioned For Long-Term Growth
Videogame industry growth projections continue to be very
bright, given the strong velocity of new hardware sales,
which should drive software sales well into the future.
With a solid slate of drive titles, including Saints Row 2,
Red Faction: Guerrilla, de Blob, WALL-E and WWE® Smack-
Down® vs. Raw® 2009, along with improvements to our
product development organization and processes, and a
re-alignment of our cost structure, we are confident in our
ability to increase revenue and profitability in fiscal 2009.
We are determined to execute at a high level and deliver
on our strategy in order to generate strong results going
forward.
I would also like to take this opportunity to welcome
the newest member of our executive team, Colin Slade,
who has joined us from Tektronix, Inc. as Chief Financial
Officer. Colin has the right profile to help us improve our
strategic focus and financial discipline, which will drive
better results at both the top and bottom line. Please join
me in welcoming Colin.
THQ is one of the worlds leading videogame companies

ahead to grow this company and create increasing value
for our shareholders over the long term.
Sincerely,
Brian Farrell
President and Chief Executive Officer
Expanding Digital Opportunities
We will also continue to execute on our strategy of devel-
oping new revenue streams through digital distribution.
We are working with leading game operator Shanda
Interactive Entertainment Limited to release a fully
online version of our critically acclaimed Company of
Heroes® in the Chinese market in fiscal 2009. We intend
to grow our leadership in wireless gaming with new
games based on Star Wars, the new Indiana Jones film,
the Playboy brand as well as extensions of our popular
console brands.
In fiscal 2008, we strengthened our wireless develop-
ment capability with the acquisition of leading mobile
games developer Universomo, Ltd.
We also expanded our casual game capability with the
acquisition of Elephant Entertainment and exclusive re-
tail publishing agreement with Oberon Media. These two
