Market Information
Our common stock began trading on the NASDAQ Global Select Market under the symbol “SFM” on August 1, 2013. Prior to
that date, there was no public market for our common stock. The price range per share of common stock presented below
represents the highest and lowest closing prices for our common stock on the NASDAQ Global Select Market for each full quarterly
period since our IPO.
The closing price of our common stock as of February 24, 2014 was $35.93 per share, and the number of stockholders of
record of our common stock as of February 24, 2013 was 530. This number excludes stockholders whose stock is held in nominee
or street name by brokers.
Dividend Policy
Since we became a publicly traded company on August 1, 2013, we have not declared or paid, and do not anticipate declaring
or paying in the foreseeable future, any cash dividends on our capital stock. Any future determination as to the declaration and
payment of dividends, if any, will be at the discretion of our board of directors and will depend on then existing conditions, including
our operating results, financial condition, contractual restrictions, capital requirements, business prospects, and other factors our
board of directors may deem relevant. Our Credit Facility contains covenants that would restrict our ability to pay cash dividends.
