Expanding Reach
For Pier 1 Imports, scal 2014 stands as the year we redened our ability to adapt to an
ever-changing marketplace. We made great strides following our strategic vision for 1 Pier 1,
adding new functionality and services to pier1.com and repositioning our Pier 1 Imports
stores as both facilitators and ambassadors for our online business, in addition to their
traditional retail role.
Expanding Assortments
The treasure hunt that our customer knows and loves now extends far beyond the locations
of our Pier 1 Imports stores. We are signicantly expanding product assortments online and
through our special-order service, Express Request, while maintaining the carefully curated
product mix that is our trademark in stores. More categories, more colors, more fabrics,
more fun – more ways to nd what speaks to you.
Expanding Access
Knowing that she increasingly shops through multiple channels, we have deployed a range of
tools to engage her, from initial browse, to purchase, to delivery. Growing directly from our 1 Pier 1
initiative begun just a short time ago, these new services – particularly In-Home Delivery – ensure
that she’s being offered the level of service she seeks. And whether she shops with us in store
or online, her experience with Pier 1 Imports is seamless.
Of cours, some things will never change.
