Exelon Enterprises
Exelon Enterprises was designed to build on Exelon’s expertise and assets in the areas of energy, energy services, and
infrastructure management in order to benefit our customers and shareholders.
The Exelon Enterprises organization consists of: InfraSource, Inc., a leading provider of distribution infrastructure
services for electric, gas, telecommunications and cable utilities in the United States; Exelon Energy, providing
customers with a choice in energy supply via one-stop shopping and full energy supply management; Exelon
Services, which offers products and services designed to reduce the risk and conserve energy related to building
systems and infrastructure; Exelon Thermal Technologies, one of North America’s leading district energy companies;
and Exelon Capital Partners, which was established to invest in new entrepreneurial companies with technologies
and applications for the deregulating energy marketplaces.
During 2002, we will work at rationalizing and optimizing these businesses. Those that fit the long-term business
objectives will be developed. For businesses that don’t meet our objectives, we will work towards obtaining the
maximum value through divestiture.
The larger the energy consumption, the greater the potential for increased savings.
Exelon Enterprises is charged with uncovering, measuring and recommending optimized
solutions for its customers. From increased insulation to alternative power sources, the
search for more efficient uses of energy is a discipline that is pursued at Exelon every
hour of every day, every year.
