3. Cash, Cash Equivalents and Marketable Securities

The Company has not experienced any realized gains or losses on its investments in the periods presented. The table above summarizes the

4. Property and Equipment
Property and equipment is recorded at cost and consisted of the following (in thousands):
Estimated useful lives for property and equipment range from three to five years. Depreciation expense, which is included in operations and
member service, sales and marketing and general and administrative expenses in the Company's statement of operations, depending on the nature
and use of the asset, was $0.9 million, $11.7 million and $22.7 million for the periods ended December 31, 2005, 2006 and 2007, respectively.
