Accumulated other comprehensive loss is net of deferred tax assets of $5.4 million and $4.6 million as of February 2, 2013 and
January 28, 2012, respectively. When the plan is settled, DSW expects to reclassify the balance of accumulated other
comprehensive loss to net income.
The Company’s funding policy is to contribute an amount annually that satisfies the minimum funding requirements of ERISA
and that is tax deductible under the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. If the plan is not terminated, the following
benefit payments are expected to be paid in the years indicated:
