Warfare;
The release of the second expansion pack of World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich
King in November 2008, which is the fastest selling PC game of all time;
Activision’s release of an affiliated LucasArts’ title, Star Wars: The Force
Unleashed in Europe and Asia Pacific; and
An increase in the number of World of Warcraft subscribers.

MMORPG net revenues increased for the year ended December 31, 2008 compared to
the same period in 2007 as a result of the continued growth of World of Warcraft, including the
successful launch of World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King in the fourth quarter of 2008.
According to The NPD Group, Gfk, and Charttrack, Blizzard’s World of Warcraft: Wrath of the
Lich King was the #1 PC title by dollars in North America and Europe. MMORPG net revenues
increased for the year ended December 31, 2007 compared to the same period in 2006 as a result
of the continued growth of World of Warcraft, including the successful release of World of
Warcraft: The Burning Crusade in January 2007.
