Amtrak President’s Service and Safety Awards: The President’s Service and
Safety Awards program provides the highest recognition given to Amtrak employees by the
corporation. The program is designed to honor employees who perform far beyond the
expected duties and responsibilities of their jobs and who make outstanding contributions
to improve the efficiency, economy, safety and service of Amtrak’s operations while
embracing the values of the corporation.
