In February 2006, ServiceMaster's Board of Directors authorized $250 million for share repurchases. This authorization replaces
the unused portion ($30 million at December 31, 2005) from the previous authorization granted in July 2000. As presented in the
following table, there were no share repurchases of ServiceMaster's common stock for the three months ended December 31, 2005
under its share repurchase authorization. Decisions relating to any future share repurchases will depend on various factors such as
ServiceMaster's commitment to maintain investment grade credit ratings and other strategic investment opportunities.
