Market for the Registrant’s Common Equity
The principal market for the Company’ s common stock (symbol: ADP) is the NASDAQ Global Select Market. The following table sets
forth the reported high and low sales prices of the Company’ s common stock and the cash dividends per share of common stock declared,
during the past two fiscal years. The sales prices reported are from the NASDAQ Global Select Market beginning with the fiscal quarter ended
December 31, 2008 and are based on the New York Stock Exchange composite transactions prior thereto. As of June 30, 2009, there were
41,939 holders of record of the Company’ s common stock. As of such date, 295,731 additional holders held their common stock in “street
name.”
