5. Commitments and Contingencies
Surety Bonds
In the normal course of business, we are required to post bid, performance and garnishment bonds. The
majority of the surety bonds posted relate to our aviation segment. As of December 31, 2004 and 2005, we had
outstanding bonds of $19.3 million $20.1 million, respectively.
